A Fashion-Forward Wedding Welcome in Milan

To kick off their incredible wedding celebrations, J & D chose the fashion capital of the world, Milan to play host for a night of opulence and sophistication. The stylish couple welcomed their loved ones to the historic Palazzo Serbelloni, which typically houses runway shows from the likes of D&G or Gucci, to their very own fashion paradise showcasing the best of Italian design and entertainment.

To complement the festivities guests were asked to dress a la mode with fashion forward outfits that did not disappoint. As they arrived, they were greeted with a vogue photobooth for their very own ‘strike a pose’ moment, an escort display shelf with stylish sketches of each guest and a glamourous violinist perched high above serenading.

Meanwhile our wonderful Bride had a short and super chic photoshoot at the courtyard of the Palazzo before making an grand entrance.

For dinner, the grand hall was filled with hundreds of candles, the warm glow of candelabras creating an intimate and exclusive atmosphere. Menus were uniquely designed to double as hand held mirrors while also reflecting the beautiful ornate ceiling and once seated guests were surprised with a catwalk performance of incredible dancers dressed to the 9’s with intricate choreography that left everyone in awe.

While enjoying a deliciously Italian meal the couple were toasted by their loved ones with beautiful speeches by the wedding party, and special words were exchanged by the groom as well, who thanked guests for travelling from far and wide to participate in the grand occasion.

As the night wore on the dancers returned with new glamorous outfits and choreography leading guests to the dancefloor to continue the party. Meanwhile, a selection of fine Italian wines and bespoke cocktails were served, offering something for every taste.

At the chill out areas a display of iconic fashion house coffee books were showcased as a special node to the importance of style to Milan and a sweet station was organised with treats that were almost too beautiful to eat, with stunning designs and flavors that complemented the evening's theme perfectly.

This unforgettable welcome event was truly one of style and sophistication. From the stunning and grand venue to the bespoke entertainment and exquisite fashion forward decor, every detail was designed together with our wonderful couple to ensure this was an evening for the books. With special focus on the guest experience, as night one of the wedding weekend concluded everyone was in high anticipation for the days to follow.
