DREAM CASTLE GORING WEDDING - ADAM AND STACEY

We planned Adam’s marriage proposal to Stacy at St Paul’s cathedral in the heart of London. The couple loved what we did so much that they asked us to plan their wedding too. It was amazing to see it all the way through from proposal to their dream wedding.

Adam, from England, and Stacy, of the USA, had their wedding at Castle Goring near Worthing. The castle, owned by Lady Colin Campbell, is a grade 1 listed country house in Sussex with its unique dual facade of the Gothic north side and the Greco-Roman yellow brick south side.

This was an epic 3 day event with the wedding being the icing on the cake at the end of an amazing weekend.

We arranged for the wedding party to stay in London and witness all things British themed within our iconic attractions. Private dinner on Tower Bridge, Afternoon tea at The Ritz, Jazz lunch on the Thames and a private BBQ overlooking Piccadilly circus.

The Americans were really WOWED.

The wedding itself was a small intimate occasion with 60 friends and family coming together to celebrate Adam and Stacy’s vows.

The wedding was of course British themed with typically British favours, like Paddington the Bear and shortbread biscuits.

Our wonderful Calligrapher (@paperpeonies_) created the most wonderful stationery.

The guests were given personalised tube tickets with the name of the couple on to add to the London theme and a nice keepsake.

As the guests walked outside they were greeted by a champagne reception and a harpist playing romantic classical music as they awaited the bride.

I loved this moment of Stacy coming down the staircase with her dad, as Adam stood in shock at the bottom of the stairs as he got his first look at his beautiful bride.

Once the couple said I do, and had been congratulated by their friends and family, they went out into the peaceful countryside for the perfect backdrop for their gorgeous wedding photoshoot.

How good does Stacy’s dress look in this photo? It’s one of my favourites.

Wishing our couple every happiness for their future and their little bubba on the way. How exciting.
